THE VISITOR news from Code Red
Giulio Paradisi's 1979 science fiction thriller STRIDULUM aka The Visitor was announced in 2007 by Code Red. Since then nothing happened, but according to the latest info all the extras, including an audio commentary with actress Joanne Nail, have been finished and Code Red promise that the DVD will be out before summer 2010. As previously mentioned, their version will be the longest ever - about 17 minutes longer than the US version and 8 minutes longer than the UK version. Worth waiting for...
Nunsploitation from Cult Epics in March 2010
Cult Epics have announced the release of Walerian Borowczyk's Interno di un convento aka Behind Convent Walls (1978) on March 30, 2010. It will also be part of a box set called Nunsploitation Convent Collection together with their previously released Sei ju gakuen aka School of the Holy Beast, directed by Norifumi Suzuki in 1974. The box set will also contain the documentary The History of Nunsploitation.
