Free Telephone Service from Ooma
Ooma is a voip service that offers customers free telephone service when you purchase their equipment. The Ooma hub was available at their site for $249 retail, but I purchased the same thing from Amazon for $219 (less an additional $30 store credit). Included with the hub was the Ooma scout, allowing my wife to enjoy the same features at her desk.

Google Teamwork App Now Open to Testers
If it were called “Google Teamwork”, people would have a better idea of what it is, but it’s really called “Google Wave”. It’s the latest release from Google, designed for project collaboration. Initially described as a replacement for email, Google Wave is better understood as a better way to work together on a project than sending emails, making phone calls, and having so many face-to-face meetings. It’s live, and contains voice for instant conference calls (one click on a group list), instant messaging, and document space on which everyone in the group can make edits.
