Freiheit, Einheit und Demokratie
Twenty years ago, maybe in one of the happiest nights of their lifes, thousands of German families hugged each other after too many years! Political reasons (Cold War, II WW, etc.), human being intolerance, the horror of the fascism and communism... divided one country, Germany and also their people: families, couples, friends...Too many things have changed after 20 years; Germany is the largest economy in Europe, is also one of the so called today "EU founders", a democratic country, a bridge between "East and West Europe" (not so trendy concepts) and of course a country who wants to be part of the 21st century learning from their own mistakes! Rio 2016
I`m a little bit sick and unfortunaly Madrid didn`t get the Olympic Games though Spanishs delegates did a great work and an amazing presentation :) IOC has decided to give the chance for the first time in History to one south- American country: Brasil and of course to the city of Rio de Janeiro. As Lula said Olympic Games are a great oportunity for Brasil`s improvemnt! I just hope this games bring more equallity between Brasilians (nowdays 80% GDP are in the hands of just 30% of Brasilians) Parabéns Rio e Brasil!!!!!!!!!!!!I`m also watching the news t
Madrid and Ireland
Tomorrow in Denmark the IOC decide where will the next Olympic Games take place, I hope this time Madrid get it, after many years of hard-work! But tomorrow Irish people decide about Lisbon Treaty future so about Europe`short-time future! I just hope have a big participation and of course a big "YES". Europe needs new rules for a new century, for a new future in a different World!
German spots
Long time without posting in my blog but tomorrow there are elections in two EU member states: Germany and of course in our neighbour country, Portugal; as Julien Frisch state in his blog, the results in both elections will have consequences in all member states like: work places (Opel factory in Figueruelas- Aragón), infrastructures ( fast trains between north Portugal and Spain)...I must say to you as well It was really hard for me to get some information about German elections in Spanish media but though We are neighbours It was even harder to get some tips about Portuguese ones (except in some Galician mass media, specially in
