ICE! at Gaylord Palms Hotel
What do you get when you give a team of 40 artisans 30 days and nearly 2,000,000 pounds of ice? ICE!, a magical walk-through holiday attraction at Gaylord Palms Hotel. ICE! is a holiday experience like none other and it has become a popular annual event for Gaylord Palms that is now in its seventh season. This temporary attractions features three-dimensional hand-carved ice monuments, sculptures, slippery ice slides, and holiday scenes like; a 13.5-foot-tall Santa Claus, life-size Nativity and a “crystal” carousel. This year the theme is, “Welcome to the North Pole,” and it will sure feel like, but you will have an oversized parka to stay comfortabl
DRIP | Blank Space Art Lounge
DRIP is where passion, dance, surreal imagination and unrestricted artistic expression all play together as one. Their playroom for this evening was Blank Space, a new contemporary art lounge and coffee house in downtown Orlando that was founded by environmental artist Jefrë. The local performance art group DRIP premieres new performance art at Blank Space every 3rd Thursday, Friday and Saturday of the month as part of the Downtown Arts District's Third Thursdays.

Sleigh Rides at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort
"Dashing through the snow...In a one-horse open sleigh...O'er the fields we go...Laughing all the way". And why are we laughing? The bells maybe jingling, but I don't think you will be dashing through the snow on Disney's Holiday ‘Sleigh’ Rides at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. You may be in a pair of shorts with a Mickey hat on though, and that's pretty funny. That's right, you will now have the opportunity to experience a horse-drawn “sleigh” ride through the secluded beauty of the 700-acre backwoods around Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground right here in sunny Central Florida. Since its Disney, you know it will be done right. A sh
Padrino's Cuban Bistro
Ahhh...rice & beans, plantains, pork chops and mojitos, life is good again. I just finished up a family dinner at Padrino's Cuban Bistro. Speaking of family, I read the Padrino family opened their first restaurant in Hialeah, FL in 1976 after immigrating to the US in 1968 from Cuba. Diosdado and Candida Rosa Padrino served up the same recipes that they cooked in their home kitchen in their restaurant for the many immigrant Cubans living in Miami. Eventually they expanded to several locations in south Florida with the help of their son Mario and the new location here in Orlando.
The place was smaller than I expected, but it had an intimate, upscale and of c
The Spa at Hilton Orlando
It's that time of year again; time to start thinking about Christmas shopping. What better than to give a Spa gift certificate? Of course I have just the place for you, one of Orlando's best new Spas, The Spa at Hilton Orlando. It's a great place to escape from the World for a day or just an hour! But, don't wait until Christmas for yourself, get over and get that much needed break from reality and let their team drift you away into nirvana with a Massage, Facial, Ritual, Mani/Pedi, etc...
As a relative newcomer to the Orlando Spa scene, it's the perfect time for you to experience what is sure to become o
