Tombstone Tuesday - Tudor Williams
Tudor E. Williams was born 25 Jul 1899 probably in Scranton, PA but I am not positive as I have no real information about him.  He married Ruth Decker which was one of my great aunts.   Tudor passed away on 17 Apr 1938, not sure how he passed, but looking it over he was not that old just below 40.  I could guess that he might have died in the one of the wars, or maybe from injuries from the wa
Surname Saturday - Decker
Surname – DECKERMeaning/Origin – Occupational in origin, this surname most likely derived from the Old High German word "decker," denoting one who covered roofs with tile, straw or slate. The meaning of the word expanded during the Middle Ages to encompass carpenters and other craftsman and was used to refer to one who built or laid the decks of vessels 2) From the German Decher, meaning the quantity of ten; this may also have been a name given to the tenth child.
Windows 7 released
I know this happened yetesterday, but I thought it worthy to mention that Windows 7 was released on Oct 22,  2009.  Where was I at 12:01am on 22 Oct? Well I was at a Fry's Electronics becuase we wanted to get a copy of 7.  Well really my friend wanted to get a copy, I guess he thought they might be sold out by the time a normal store opens up   Just so everyone knows the lines were outrageous, I think there were about 10 people in line at 11:50pm.  :) We got our copies, as I was already running a copy of Windows 7, I knew what to expect and was already prepared.  I think its a great upgrade from XP, and well worth to drop Vista.
