| Description: |
This personal web site (best viewed with Mozilla Firefox) is more about our daughter Amara and sometimes about me (Ayu) and my husband Volker. As we currently live in Budapest, Hungary I’ll write about Budapest as well. I write in bahasa Indonesia, that is my mother-tongue, my parents come from Indonesia, in English and maybe also in German…. you see, me and Volker are a mixed (indonesian-german) couple. |

Good Pizza in Budapest
After we tried a few places to no avail which led us to home made pizzas for a while, finally we found two places in district VI with good pizzas.
1. Pizza Marzano
There are four of them in Budapest in Pest and also Buda sides. We go to the one on Andrassy Street. What we love Continue reading Good Pizza in Budapest

Gak nyambung Bu Dokter….

Sunday brunch in Budapest
We love sunday brunch, it is Amara’s favorite (but I’m pretty sure she just enjoys a sunday where BOTH parents didn’t have to work). So naturally after we moved here we tried several sunday brunches. We only tried sunday burnch in hotels, guess we should try somewhere else next time.
I notice a different here in Budapest and in Frankfurt.
In Frankfurt most of the brunch goers are adult couples, I seldom saw children (we also used to go to hotels for sunday brunch) and the ambiance are more relax and quiet. I remember I kept telling Amara to quiet down a bit when she was smaller. In Budapest in the other hand, of what we’d experienced of course, the am
