Buy/Sell: Trade Market
Ricky Williams-RB-MIA
Buy- The Dolphins are a run oriented team so Williams will get a lot of carries (due to Ronnie Brown’s injury). Ricky looked 5 years younger on Thursday and the fact that he split carries with Ronnie Brown means that he is fresh.
Terrell Owens-WR-BUF
Sell- I can justify trading for a player on a team with Fitzpatrick as the quarterback. Owens is a playmaker but his limited stats this season are a result of declining skills and poor quarterback play. If you own him move him right now and take whatever you can get.
Kevin Smith-RB-DET
Sell- This was a tough decision b
M*A*S*H Injury Report
Arizona
Kurt Warner- Head
*** While it is unknown if Warner will play next week, just remember his head isn’t a vital organ. This might be bad news for Arizona WR owners.
Buffalo
Marshawn Lynch- Shoulder
** It looks like Lynch might play this weekend. I would have Fred Jackson ready to go though.
Dallas
Tony Romo- Back
** Romo should play this week, but I would keep an eye on him.
Detroit State College Team
Matt Stafford- Left Shoulder
** X-rays of the shoulder were negative. With it being a non throwing shoulder, I expect Stafford to be in there this week.
Green Bay
Ryan Grant- Stinger
NFL Depth Chart Update
As mentioned last week, I will be out for most of this week and the regular Depth Chart Notes will thus not be available. That said, I did throw together the updated Depth Charts for all 32 teams, which also includes the percentages that you’re used to seeing next to each player. Furthermore, I made a notation next to each player who could or will miss time going forward due to injury or suspension.
Note that only 8 of the Depth Charts are located on the front page of the site in order to conserve space. Click ‘Read More’ to see all 32.
Explanation of the percentages in parentheses:
RB: (% of team’s total carries, % of team’s total targets)
Sit/Start: Week 11
I’ve decided to leave Monday night for a special article. Is that ok? If not hit me up on Twitter (@jmtorrey), send me an email or leave me a comment!
I wish I could say that I wasn’t reviewing last weeks success simply because I was being selfish. Sadly, my real job is keeping me from spending as much time looking back as I would prefer. Instead I’m looking forward to Sunday’s games while enjoying some Thursday night football.
RBs
Start:
Rashard Mendenhall @ Kansas City Chiefs – Welcome back to the goodside Mendy. And by goodside, I mean a game in which PIT doesn’t play
Sit/Start: Thursday Night Week 11C
This is a special edition of my Sit/Start reserved solely for tonight’s game. Sometimes the added pressure of making an early week decision compounds the effects of basic fantasy logic (of which no such thing really exists lol). So lets take a team by team look at some of the names playing tonight.
Carolina Panthers
Jake Delhomme QB: Tonight is an interesting night for the aging Panthers QB. The Dolphins are 27th in pass defense, middle of the pack in INTs but amongst the better quarter of the league in terms of sacks. Delhomme has his opportunity tonight to take advantage of an aggressive Miami run defense and poor safety coverage uni
