Covered Bridge Festival October 9-18, 2009
People are starting to arrive for the 2009 Parke County, Indiana, Covered Bridge Festival in downtown Rockville, Indiana.  Shoppers are braving the rain and the mud.  Some people do their Christmas shopping during the next 10 days.  Rockville, Indiana, is the hub of the Festival.  There are several other towns(Bridgetown, Mansfield, Tangier, Montezuma, Mecca, Rosedale just to name a few) that have quite an array of vendors.   A lot of local craftpeople set up in Bridgeton.   And, don’t forget our lovely covered bridges.  The court house lawn is the place to go for food treats.
Are most patterns user friendly?
Do you have a favorite pattern designer?  What do you look for in a pattern?  Do you like charts or do you prefer written instructions?   I feel that patterns should be straight forward.  I don’t have just one designer I like.  I envy anyone who can create lovely items for me to knit.
