Roth turns to invading aliens
Not only is Eli Roth making a film called Endangered Species, an alien invasion type film, but he's co-producing another alien invasion film called Invasion, described as a Cloverfield-esque story and based on a speculative script by Ben Magid, one of the writers who has worked on the upcoming Hack/Slash film. Lee's black biographies dead, Inside Man 2 not
It's amazing to think that while film projects from Spike Lee about Michael Jordan, James Brown and Joe Louis are failing to gain funding and have died, that one of his films making it through is Inside Man 2. Of course it's all about money and returns, but as successful and good as Inside Man (Filmstalker review) was, I don't want to see a second film, I mean why would you? Blood Creek (Town Creek) trailer online
There's a trailer online for Joel Schumacher's Nazi horror film Blood Creek, although the news is that it's not going to be a big release and it's destined for DVD in January, and from the trailer you can probably see why. The film looks pretty poor from the trailer, and apart from loads of shots of the monster running around and screaming and blood, I'm not really sure what this is trying to offer the audience. New Nine trailer gives story first, music second
Not only does it feature the story in this trailer and the music as a second, but the song is sung by a singer too. Okay, cheap jibe aside, this trailer does have more on the performances and the story inside the musical, including some of Daniel Day Lewis and the leading ladies themselves. I think this is a welcome trailer for the film, for so far we've seen the big stage performances and a star who we don't normaly see sing, sing. Baldwin says his film career is a complete failure
Alec Baldwin has said that he doesn't have any interest in acting anymore and that he's close to giving it up. Not only that but that he considers his entire film career to date to be a complete failure. I have to ask if he's been smoking something strange, because that's not the Baldwin film career that comes to mind when I think back.
