Finding Alice began as a journal for a book I was writing about my grandmother and grandfather. It contained drafts and excerpts from the project as well as complaints and ramblings about the process of writing in general, the emotional breakdowns and breakthroughs of writing about family in particular, and the struggle to live daily within the space of both. Now, Finding Alice has turned into a broader “search,” turning those original questions over and over through digital media exploration. |
