I wish my butt was as tight as it feels….
I’m in dire need of a massage and jumping squats with Jillian Michaels DVD tonight only managed to knot it up even more. Regardless…measurements and photos are coming at the end of the month. Though I don’t “feel” any lighter, there are some clothes that are fitting a little bit better in places where it was an “ugh” before!
Breakfast: Ryan’s scrambled eggs and 2 slices of whole wheat toast and 1 apple and, whew one glass of juice
Snack: 1 cup Low fat vanilla yogurt and 1 of my special Oatmeal chocolate cookies one coffee
Lunch: Leftover Wild game Shepherds Pie
Snack: (on the go) 1 low fat pomegranate bran muffin
I’ve re-invented the Chocolate Chip Cookie!
My 4 yr old was BEGGING for me to make chocolate chip cookies. I never bake due to the fire hazard but I decided what the heck, I’ll give it a whirl.
I knew darn well that I would also have my face in these cookies so I had to shape up the recipe a bit. I used the Quaker Oatmeal Chocolate chip mix (like I would even consider from scratch) I added in about 1/4 Cup of oats, 1/2 cup ground flax seed, and instead of the 2 Tbsp of butter I added 1 Tsp of butter and substituted the rest with applesauce. Pathetic…I caved on a Margarita!
Weekend re-cap…Girls night out for dinner. I ordered a beautiful 7oz NY steak, rare, steamed green beans and brown rice…for my “night out” I kept dinner quite clean and passed on the dessert. However, I did want to treat myself to a Strawberry Margarita…arrrrriba!!!!
To make a long story short, I had the “tipsies” 1/4 of the way through the drink and passed it on to a friend to polish it off. I suppose that’s what nearly two years of not having a drop will do for you. I never was a big drinker and I think this solidifies my decision to not even bother…cheap drunk!
Overall not a bad weekend aside from the Skor Blizzard! (
The Elimination begins…
Busting a plateau is definitely not easy, and if I know “me” it’s near impossible to have Oreo cookies in the cupboard for my son’s treat…they turn into my treats…”Bad Mommy!”
These past few days I’ve been in the process of “elimination” from my diet…beginning with my beloved Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte…though it’s low in fat it’s loaded with SUGAR. Next on the docket was all of the wee little bits n nibbles of this and that here and there…not doing myself any favors am I with that?
It sucks that I need to really clean house to lose weight…but, in the end, I had my days o
