| Description: |
This blog basically catalogs my endeavors to (eventually) become a nonprofit accountant for the purpose of helping kids in Africa, particularly those affected by HIV/AIDS.
"Fostering Hope," because HOPE is a very prevalent theme in my life. I am also a student at the Michael G. Foster School of Business at the UW hoping to use my degree to benefit kids affected by HIV/AIDS. The URL for my blog, "accountingforAfrica," touches on my desire to literally practice Accounting principles and methods for the sake of kids in Africa; it also means I want people to know about their situation. To "account" for something means to "regard, consider as," and so on. |
