One of the best songs ever, Can't Hardly Wait from The Replacements/ Paul Westerberg. Interesting version which is says it is the "base tracks" and includes some strings and no horns. Very nice. Why can't I get this out of my head?

Stimulus Pork
Yikes, check out this list of pork spending found using the ARRA Stimulus money. While I would say that maybe a few may be justified and reasonable, most don't pass the straight face test. If this list and the larger political point makes the rounds it will certainly paint Obama as a typical politician and the Stimulus as a big waste of money. This type of stuff should not have been included in this program.

Wise Words on Marriage, Sex and Kids
I am a fan of Dan Savage and his Savage Love podcast. Episode #155 had a good discussion about the sex life of couples after they have kids. A women called in to respond to comments Dan made about how women feel about having sex soon after they have kids on a previous podcast. She was mad and made some really good points about why many women are not that interested in sex when they have young kids and Dan also backed her up and provided some good points as well. I would love to live on a farm if I did not have to do any of the farm work
It sounds like Penelope Trunk may be living her dream as she marries the farmer and moves out to his farm. I know these life decisions are about much more than whether you'd like to live where your future life partner lives but this does look like a gorgeous spot. I am looking forward to reading her chronicle her new life living the Internet business CEO Jet Set life while she moves out to the country with her new man. It almost should be a new reality show.The question is: will "the farmer" make Penelope and her kids shovel manure?
