Fail

The indoor tomato experiment was a huge fail, mostly because it was so cold in here all through our days without heat. The tomato plant is still kinda, sorta, alive, but looking so awful that I am tempted to toss it. Frost and maters just aren't friends I guess. I think I will try again next y

Propagating Geraniums

I do this in two ways...from seed and from soft tissue cuttings. For the latter I use bulb jars, just because they are small and attractive. No Longer a Dry Spring

After just getting started on the hay we were hit with two weeks of rain. Nice today, but lots more unsettled weather in the forecast. Germination is still poor and deer are now stopping by to munch. First lettuce is about done, must plant more. Same with radishes.From Charles Thurwood's 1874 diary

Dry Spring
