Dorothy Patterson has been one of the leading complementarian female writers and speakers among evangelicals for many years. She is the author of A Woman Seeking God among several other books. She also co-edited the Women’s Evangelical Commentary on the New Testament and is editing the second volume on the Old Testament. Patterson is the wife of Paige Patterson, president of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. She serves as professor of theology in women’s studies at the seminary.
