Thanks for reading this random compilation of my memories, feelings, family, theology, and life stuff. My hope is that as you read this you see we're just simply passionate about everything that is Jesus, change, hope, and fun. It's been an amazing journey to serve at Generate and watch God instill and inspire new movement in Southern CA. |

Thankful for…
I thought today it might be fun for us all to share some “what” we’re thankful for this year but then decided to change it up and list some “who” instead. Seems like a fun tradition because so often we have intense appreciation for people we see daily but never express it. I couldn’t be comprehensive with everyone in my life so I’m going to start with the people who have to put up with me every day and then add to the list each year. If you’ve never tried this I’d encourage you to sit around your Thanksgiving tables and start sentences with “because of you…” (you’ll get emotional with where it takes your fami
Wednesday Night
Wednesday is an extended time of worship and thanksgiving at both the 6pm and 7:30pm service.
Isaiah 40 talks about Israel’s tendency to think that God forgot them. Maybe their needs skipped over Gods head? Maybe God is concerned with bigger things?
Then Isaiah declares that God never misses His people and that those who wait on Him will find new strength and hope. It’s the word “wait” that intrigues me. A hebrew word that means to take a cord and bind it tightly together.

In a few weeks Jarrid Wilson will be launching Project Nema. Excited to watch Jarrid cultivate an original response from a generation regarding faith, love, hope, reality.
Thanksgiving Reflection

How closely is your identity tied to your ability?
If you had no job, ministry, significant other, or talent as of this moment, who would you be?
Who are you? (this one seems easy but try answering without using verbs)
Strip everything away from your past and it forces you to really examine who you are in the present. When your soul is devoid of the clutter, plaudits, and noise it can be a s
Wed Worship Night
This Wednesday night we will celebrate Thanksgiving in a special way with an extended time of worship by Natalya and the band. I’m excited to share a little about some personal things I’ve been learning but Bre and I are super excited to just spend some time lifting our hands and bending our knees in appreciation of our Savior.
Due to the hectic nature of Southern CA one thing we don’t do enough of is stop and “remember”. We don’t look at the marvelous things God has done and begin to anticipate the destiny we are each promised.
Wednesday will be a night of both “remembrance” and “antici
