Ethans Birthday
Can’t believe my little boy is 3. He got his first big boy basketball hoop and instead of baking a cake we decided what better birthday suprise than Wendy’s?! You’ll notice we still went to great lengths to insure he had a candle stuffed in that “Frosty” lid.

What’s God’s Will?
I’ve had quite a few of you ask me this week “what’s God’s will for me?” It’s a great question and seemingly spiritual but what if we were to change it a little? What if we simply asked “what’s God’s will?” (drop off the tiny last two words) If we drop off the “for me” then we realize that we’re simply a part of God’s story, God’s purpose and God’s big plan. The idea of it having much to do with my opinion or desire is limiting. Instead of asking what God may want from you ’someday’ simply ask what he wants from you in the ‘next ten minutes.’ Prom

Random Highlights from my week and things I’m excited about! 1. Date night with Bre. We have a 60 day span right now with all of 3 days off (it’s only a season so marital counselors relax). Excited to do dinner and a movie with the hot lady who for some reason chose me! 2. Next two weeks Generate is talking “Beers, Bongs, and _____” (that’s text talk for censored). We’ll talk about the things you don’t hear much in churches but deal with every day… Ink, drink, smokes, and parties. I know it will be fun but also know it will get serious and moving. 3. Phil Wickham in the house

Hope Today
Last night was incredible. Thanks to Brad, Jeff, Fotser for coming out and partnering with Generate to bring awareness to Catalyst, Gift Card Giver, and Mobile Homlessness.
