I love this interactive map I found on NY Times.com. You can scroll through the most searched recipes (allrecipes.com) from the day before Thanksgiving to see what people are cooking most today for Thanksgiving dinner. It’s probably too late for most of us, but the map even has links for the top hit recipes under each dish name on the map. Apparently we like some broccoli casserole more than anything down here in the South! And I like the fact that my all-time Thanksgiving favorite, peanut butter pie, made it on the list. Six Years Old
I remember one evening I was standing in my bedroom in Florida with my friend Carrie. She looked at baby Lydia and smiled. “Isn’t it incredible? She has your nose! She is the first blood relative you have ever met on earth.” Wow… I can close my eyes and still take in that moment. The Father’s love for me as I looked at her overwhelmed me with joy! Lydia Kate. The sound of her name brings me joy and laughter and brings me to my knees in prayer. I cannot believe six years have come and gone and stand in awe of God’s goodness in her life. To Him be praised and may her life be a journey to know Him and spread His love to others!
