Fiscally Conservative?
Our friends over at the National Republican Congressional Committee devised a list of who they thought were vulnerable Democrats in 2010. We then proceeded to track the votes of each of those Members on the most important fiscal bills over the past year: both TARP bills, the auto bailout, stimulus, budget, cap-and-trade, Republican motion-to-recommit H.R. 3962, the House health care "reform" bill, and final passage of H.R. 3962.
Keep these votes in mind as so-called blue dog Democrats and other Democrats in conservative-leaning districts continue to cast questionable votes. As some of these issues move forward, we hope this information proves to be useful in keeping leaders accountable

After years of delay, New York's Court of Appeals has cleared the way for the use of eminent domain on behalf of a private developer, according to the New York Times. NTU spoke out against this project back in 2004.

The Nevada Tax Commission has violated state law for over ten years. Its failure to issue a statutorily required tax policy manual to ensure that the state’s county assessors uniformly appraise property across the state has led to significant disparities among county assessors in how they value property for tax purposes.
