I’ve been working for a number of years now trying to better understand the use of new media and software platforms in the political process. I’d never considered this particular use of photoshop before. It was circulated by the Liberal party and then Canwest reporter David Aiken.
Mobile media, redefined
In response to a few friends who have noted the problems with iphone’s battery life –
We should rename “mobile media”, “tethered media”. This from wikipedia: “A tether is a cord that anchors something movable to a stationary point. There are a number of applications for tethers, but the primary use is limiting the movement of animals.”
