Too often, we get into the “just the facts” mind set when deciding what we should put in and what we can leave out of a book. Candid and “hammy” photos should be considered – as well as formal posed photographs. Captions should not feel forced. Add information as you see fit. Places also make a family what they are (or were). Don’t focus solely on the people. Dates are a good thing to have – and use, but don’t discount something because of a lack of one.
