My Journalfest story
I got to the airport and my friend Maria surprised me there.  I didn't know she was going.  We talked all the way up and that was really fun.  At the other end I met up with Vivian McDonald and Traci Bautista and we drove up to Fort Worden together.  I got to sit in the back seat of the car for the first time ever going up there and it was cushy!  We stopped in Poulsbo and had coffee and pastries because you know, and it's been proven you don't ever gain an ounce on the way up to an art retreat!

Ever have one of those weeks
where you honestly don't know how you are going to do everything you need to do?  You've promised things to people, everything comes together on the same day and you know you never planned THAT. But wait, that's only the half of it... then someone else makes really important plans that take 3 days of activity to bring to a close... and then... the worst... thing... ha
