Setting goals empowers you.  Setting goals gives you direction.  Setting goals tells your inner self that you do love and trust in yourself to move forward.  Setting goals affirms that you realize you are an active participant in creating the life you want.  If anyone had told me to set big goals when I was ill I would have thought they “just did not understand how badly I felt”.
