Oh, Snap
In preparation for Cheap Bastard Weekend, does anybody know how to fix snaps?
Clearly I Did Not Think This Plan Through
What the hell was I thinking?  Every day?  And did I have to pick a day with thirty-one days?  Couldn't I have picked one with, like, twenty-two or something?  I'm going to drag something out of the pile of stuff I never hit Publish on.  It's kind of like finding something in the bottom of your closet that still has the tags on it, except this post isn't 25% Spandex and 75% WTF Was I Thinking? Here ya go: So there I was, toodling merrily about the Internet, as I am wont to do, and I came across something that transformed my underpants from 'sensible cotton' to 'giant twisted up knot'. No
Define Irony
Not even one week in, and I already missed a day.  Shame on me.  In my defense, I was kind of busy laughing bitterly at the following: After being sent to collections several times for medical bills, we decided to say "Fuck it" and dump all the medical bills on a credit card that we could just pay off little by little. I went off my medication last month. A bit out of character, isn't it?  You'd think that somebody who has dedicated quite a bit
If It's Good Enough For The Kids, It's Good Enough For This Blog
"What?  I'm serious.""So...that's your whole theory of parenting?""Yes.""Half-assing it.""Yes.  Fitz-Hume woke up crabby for no discernable reason about fifty-six times last night, but look at me!  Rested!  Refreshed!  And why?  Because I gave up a long time ago, and now I just let her sleep in my damned bed.""Yeah, but--""But nothing!  Just give up!  Wing it!" I suspect that the only reason this philosophy hasn't caught on is because it would be spectacularly difficult to market.
