~My Darkness~
I don't mind the dark.I love it!I can hide everything and anything in it; my thoughts, my heart, my feelings, and my dreams.To bring in the light would only expose all the pain and emptiness I have held onto so tight. I would be lost in the light.In the darkness I could be who I needed to be, who I had to be.What a great relief to learn no one goes looking in the dark, no one wants to know what is hiding in the shadows.They all believed everything was fine, for who would purposely leave the lights off?My darkness was silence.
