Awayo's story
Recently I had the opportunity of translating a short NTM video into German. I'm not sure when and where the German version will be available, but here is a version with English subtitles. This is a 10-minute video is about a man called "Awayo" from the Moi tribe in Indonesia. He represents just one of many people groups in remote corners in the world who live in fear of the spirits and who die without hope. But Awayo's life was changed dramatically when he came face to face with the truth. You can listen to him tell his story in his own language with English subtitles. Over my first term break, I was able to visit the town of Lutterworth in Leicestershire. This was where John Wycliffe lived and where he became the first person to translate the Bible into English.
