It’s not uncommon to see discomfort expressed in the faces of new clients when I ask the question “what’s your budget”? It’s not a question that I ask all the time, but there are some projects, especially campaigns or planned programs where it’s necessary.
It’s a difficult question to ask, especially when more often than not, I know the shields will go up. The usual assumption is obvious – tell them how much I have and they’ll take it all. Sales guys!!!
