A recent commenter raised the issue of the “evils” of the “manifest sons of God” doctrine, so I thought I’d post on the subject and open it up to discussion [warning: this is not by any means a short post]. A friend called my attention to a thread about what adultery is (and isn’t) in a Christian forum. Gluten Intolerance as prophetic symbol
So I’m really coming to grips with the fact that I am gluten intolerant. Might have celiac disease. (Don’t know, and at the moment, don’t really care.) When I was in the process of sorting this out, back a few months ago, Pastor Mike said something interesting mid-sermon. He was talking about our need to be very careful what we put into ourselves. We can become defiled by the things we see and hear – and so much moreso if we choose to see and hear them. If you want life to work properly, be careful what you put into it!
