New CIO for DeKalb County
by Ty Tagami, AJCEllis said in a news release that he appointed Darrell T. Black as DeKalb's new Chief Information Officer. Black previously was CIO for Benedict College in Columbia, where he oversaw online student services and courses, electronic file storage and asset security, according to the news release. It says Black has an undergraduate degree from Delaware State College and a masters from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
