Everson, my great grandfather was a 9 year old immigrant from Ostre Totten, Norway who pioneered and homesteaded in Walum, North Dakota where he served as justice of the peace and sat on many boards, including school, city and church. He served in the House of Representatives three terms and was the original insurgent of the socialists NonPartisan League that overtook North Dakota by prairie fire. Suffering the great Townley Tornado political machine, E. W. Everson founded and was elected President of the Independent Voters Association that eventually recalled the very first Governor in America and derailed the Townley Tornado as the socialist Non Partisan League was emerging as a National threat to our freedom and liberty. My friends, we must learn from E. W. Everson's bravery and story and do this again before it is too late! Join us! |
