Winter Ball Stats: 11/8 Update
It's Sunday, and time for our weekly update on how the players in the Indians system are performing in winter league action.  All stats are through Saturday November 7th.One quick note to give congrats to Indians catcher Matt McBride who went 1-for-2 with a 2-run home run last night in the Arizona Fall League's Rising Stars game.  McBride's home run came in the bottom of the 8th inning with his team trailing 7-6 and was the decisive blow as his team won 8-7.  Third baseman Carlos Rivero also played and went 0-for-1 at the plate.

The Indians made another announcement today in regard to the structure of their organization, this time naming Ramon Pena as their new Director of Latin American Operations.Pena is a veteran, respected scout with 28 years of scouting experience under his belt.
