| Description: |
Just over a year ago, the idea for the InSights Group was created. Without a road map, clear blueprint, or major plan, this place has really come together. We still have such a unique blend of benefits, it’s often hard to sum it up in a simple sentence, or simple tagline. Today we were pondering the question of how to explain to the world what happens here at InSights. Somehow I found myself humming the Cheers theme song. I believe InSights is a collective of great positive energy, where everyone knows your name, and they are always glad you came.
So I’d like to pose this question to you. Why did you, or why would you join InSights? What are you looking for that our “tribe” can help you find? What are you seeking, and what are you finding with InSights? |

Put Your Content to Work
You spend time out of your day writing a blog entry (and thinking about what to write). Why not get the most out of your time and effort? Use your content as a way to provide useful and interesting information to your customers. To do this most effectively, think about ways you can get your message out.
Make sure you post a link to your post on any social networks where it makes sense (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn would be the big ones). You should also use a full RSS feed - meaning that your RSS feed shows your full post, not just a portion of it. Why? Because search engines and content aggregators will pick up your feed and put your content in front of a wider audienc
Is one type of social media better for a specific type of business than another?
It depends on where your customers are. Each social media platform has it’s strongest attributes, and it attracts people who enjoy the interface. If you are dealing with B2B contacts, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter are great. They will each let you interface with your customer as well.
If you start your social media strategy on a blog platform, (we recommend wordpress), you can hit publish and automate your posts to all of your social media sites. You can choose to spend time interacting on the ones you like, and still have your message in front of the people who like each of the sites.
You can also find out some information about the demographics of each of the sites
