| Description: | One slow month outside of bible college and things were starting to spiral backwards as if I'd never left. Everything that could have gone wrong with my car had, and without work God's plan started to fade away from my sight. It doesn't help when start suggesting the perhaps you misheard the voice of God, or maybe it's not the right now. But let God be true and every man a liar, including me in my doubt. because just 1 day prior to getting back behind the wheel of my car, I was on the road with a car full of beef jerky, a snowboard and a couple pairs of jeans. Utah was the next and final stop on this, as I like to call it, adventure in ministry. A grueling 28 hours later I arrived in the great state of Utah having driven 3 hours past my exit and venturing down an 87 mile river of road. Tired, hungry, and dirty Steve took me straight to meet the college group, that's when I heard God speak, well done good and faithful servant this is only the beginning. It's been about 2 months for me now living on top of mountain, interning at the church, and working at Red Robin. My car is working great, the church is happy to have me, and I'm happy to have Red Robin. shortly after arriving the desires of my heart we confirmed, that Utah was on the edge of revival. Pastor Joe having been here 5 years and Pastor Steve 2 years, are both speaking about revival not as a future act of God but a present work that we are about to walk through. October 11th will be our first "Reaction" and the step of faith that we as a body are taking to reach out to the people here. It will be a Gospel message and time of worship focused toward youth and young adults. Pray that God would bless it bind the enemy, because today is the day for salvation. God bless all that are praying, thank you and thank you again. I'll continue to post as long as I'm here. |
