Giving Thanks
Yesterday I had the pleasure of joining my good good friends and roommates Brandon and Michael for Thanksgiving Dinner at Brandon's families house in Orem. We had a great day filled with good food, fun games, and great conversations. I took a few moments to talk to my sister on the phone and so I stepped outside. Once outside I found this little flower which even being dead was so beautiful to me that I HAD to photograph it. So today I am so thankful for the beautiful world around me and the medium of art that lets me explore and remember the beauty that I see. I love photography.

This is my friend Brandon. I was thinking this morning that I want to do a series of portraits of people that make my life meaningful. Brandon is one of these people, so I guess this is the 1st image in the series. I was thinking I would photograph people in my life who have a positive influence on me. This series will be more about documenting the people I love. Here is Brandon.

Cafe Niche
I have been to Cafe Niche a few times over the last few weeks. They have an incredible brunch and I had the BEST porkchop that I have ever had. Anyway, these shots are of their centerpieces.

I bought this plant at IKEA. It was pretty for a second, then it died.
