update - my family is freaking awesome.
back at work after spending the weekend in Palm Springs with my mom, Perry, Kenny, Suzi, and Nic.  highlights:-dim sum on saturday morning at Ocean Star in Monterey Park-snagging half a dozen Beard Papa's cream puffs.  hearing mom argue with the lady about the posted sign "$2 off a half dozen" because the lady said it was $2 off with a coupon from a magazine.  worrying about her spitting in our cream puffs or not filling them haha but dude it worked out, they were yummmmy!-drinking wine and napping by the pool-delicious dinner at the steak house in the Agua Caliente casino-nic's fashion walk ahhaha-stopping at Stater Br
