Snow!
Yes, that is right folks, it snowed in good ole Minnesota today. SNOW! I cannot believe it. I know, I know, I live in Minnesota I should be used to this stuff by now but for cripes sake it is October 10th. That is early even for Minnesota. I actually had to shovel off the deck. Now, we really didn't get that much snow but the deck is the main entrance to the house and our deck gets slippery so I had to dig out the good old trusty shovel. I about cried. I'm not ready for winter. Good thing I am going to Florida on Thursday for a few days. I need some good old fashioned warm sunshine.

If you are not a Minnesota Wild fan than you probably don't know that the title of my post is the saying that they use right before they drop the puck before each Wild home game. That's right folks, it's hockey season in Minnesota. I love hockey!I have been a hockey fan since I was a kid. I used to watch hockey all the time with my dad and my grandpa, everything from the MN Boys State High School Hockey Tournament (big stuff here), to the MN Fighting Saints, to my beloved Minnesota North Stars. The North Stars left Minnesota in 1993. They moved to Dallas Texas where they are now called the Dallas Stars. There is still one original North Star left on that team believe it or

The 2009 Breast Cancer 3-Day
Wow, what an experience. This was my 5th year being involved with the Breast Cancer 3-Day and my 2nd as a walker. I'm telling you this is one incredible event.We started out on Friday morning in the pouring rain. It sure looked like it was shaping up to be a miserable day but by about 9:00 it started to clear up. It turned out to be a gorgeous, sunny day. We walked through Edina, S. Mpls, into downtown Mpls, past the U of M and finishing up walking down Summit Ave to Macalester College. Camp was in Maplewood. This year I decided that I was not going to stay in camp. I'm not much of a camper, my idea of camping is a hotel. My teammate and I stayed in a hotel close to ca
