I Love My Boys
Since we began sorting through pictures for Dorine’s viewing last month Dave’s been on a mission to create a comprehensive gallery of family pictures. He’s found a new love for preserving family memories and history that I love.I’ve enjoyed seeing photos of Dave’s family over the years, but was particularly thrilled to find several pictures of Dave as a baby and tiny tot. I’d never seen these pictures before and they totally melted my heart. I hope Cooper looks exactly like his dad. He’ll be one handsome heartbreaker who will call me mama. Oh, I love this b
Hey Baby
While I started feeling the effects of carrying another human being around the 9th week (the morning sickness kicked in when I was on vacation) I didn’t start looking pregnant until I was quite a ways into this whole pregnancy thing. My September Card Group was all about baby. Sarah brought baby Emerson to meet everyone, I had a bit of a baby bump to show off, and we swapped baby cards. Kelly also planned a fabulous home décor project for us. We made magnetic chalk boards. We decorated our boards and several coordinating magnets with patterned paper and ribbon. For more information about this project check out this link. We all left with super cute projects and full bellies.
5 Things
The fabulous Ms. Kim Kesti is challenging her readers to list five things they're grateful for. After two long months filled with a job loss and the loss of a loved one Dave and I could easily feel as if we don’t have much to be grateful for. Luckily we’ve felt the love of our family, friends, and Savior over the past few months and know we are truly blessed. So without further ado…1. We’re grateful for a large family that's only a phone call or drive away. As an in-law I’m eternally grateful for how accepting everyone in Dave’s family is and how wonderfully supportive they are of one another. Yes, this is a p
