Eli’s “Rock Mitzvah”
After a year of preparation, Eli R. became a Bar Mitzvah on October 10 at Temple Sinai in South Burlington. Surrounded by family and friends, he chanted his torah portion and led the Saturday morning service as he celebrated a right of religious passage as he moved into Jewish adulthood. And, yes,  there were lots and lots of (happy) tears.
Full Moon

Kubota/Taufer Photo workshop
So what do 50 photographers do when they get together? Why, take pictures of one another, what else? On this occassion, we were all together at Sugarbush Resort for a workshop led by Kevin Kubota, one of the top wedding photographers in the country and a genius in the area of worksflow. He was joined by Vicki and Jed Taufer, a husband and wife team with one of the nation’s most successful photo studios. It was 2 days of learning, coaching, laughing, venting and sharing.
