Summer!
1st day of summer, very exciting. Although you wouldn’t know that it just started, the heat has been around for weeks now! Summer is exciting for a few reasons for us, firstly Ava will be turning 2 very soon and we are busily planning a little party for her, christmas, new years and then family visiting. It’s going to be a big month! Here is 1 in a series of photos of Ava that I shot a few weeks ago for Ava’s invites and was waiting for a good time to post - what a more fitting photo for the start of summer I will share more on her actual birthday.

Barnes Family Session
We had a lovely morning at the pier this morning - although very windy, it was great to be out nice and early! It was an absolute pleasure photographing this family, I just loved the clothing choices too

Family Session - Brisbane
Just a little sneak peak from this lovely family session. It was a great combination of beachy/garden shots, and a beautiful afternoon for it! It’s been a crazy busy week for me this week - but i’m so glad I got to do this session and meet such great people. The kids… so sweet

Izzy + Evie
These two gorgeous girls came out for photos by the lake on the weekend. I remember little Evie when she was brand new, she has grown so quickly! We managed to survive the heat and capture some shots of these girls. I <3 this one… Izzy took a little while to warm to me, but she came around and had some very cheeky smiles, I love the one on the right

Jazmin
Here is the gorgeous Jazmin. 6 months old and already showing so much character. She was an absolute pleasure to photograph, if the humidity in the gardens hadn’t been so bad, I could have photographed her all day, she did so well. Check out her eyes, beautiful blueys!
