What's been going on and coming up
I needed to table my blog for the last three weeks. The only writing I've been doing is a business plan for a new studio I am opening next week. When the dust settles in the new gym I will resume regular posting. High Level Fitness closed last week after nearly six years. I am going to miss that place and all of the people I had the privilege to work along side in the last three years. First RKC Experience Part II
Master for a reason After tweaking my knee I was brought to Brett by one of my assistant instructors, Jonathan Lewis. Brett had me show him what I was doing when I got hurt and sorted it out in about a minute. Brett told me to stop thinking about my knees on the clean and just focus on pushing my heels into the ground while extending my hips. If my heels are pushing into the ground and my hips are fully extended, my knees lock out without me thinking about them. If I think lock out my knees, my knees snap back and I get hurt.
