Vintage Recipe Organizer
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving here in the U.S., and we look forward to enjoying a delicious meal and time to visit with our families and friends. No doubt many will be pulling out old family favorite recipe cards and clippings to use while preparing the feast, and in at least some cases, those will be raggedy, dog-eared index cards and newspaper clippings that have been passed down from previous generations. Schmatta: Rags To Riches To Rags
Last night I watched a very interesting documentary on HBO entitled “Schmatta: Rags To Riches To Rags,” which details the rise and decline of the garment district in New York City. I highly recommend checking this out, not only because of the fabulous footage of fashions over the decades, but because of the very important issues addressed.
