On 27 April I arrived at the office to find my "Notice of Lay Off" not only on my desk but in my email - I worked eight weeks of that Notice, training each and every new employee that walked through the front door - I NEVER once led anyone to believe that I was going "to retire", those were the words that the Employer told the new employees - I NEVER once told any of the patients that I was being let go - I maintained my own morales and ethics - on 19 June when I walked out of the office for the last time, I knew I did so with my head held high, never once going behind his back to any of his patients and/or suppliers.This cost me dearly - not just financially but emotionall

Pirate Hoodie Revisited
Remember when Mr. T. received his Pirate Tunic (Ravelry Link) this past Spring? It did fit him quite well in March but alas a couple of weeks ago he was sporting it one Sunday afternoon and as Mommy would say "looking a bit daggy". After discussion with him and my promise to return it back to him, I brought it back to Chez Nana and added FIVE INCHES to the body and THREE INCHES to his sleeves!! Hello there buddy, could you not grow quite so fast that a sweater will last ya' at least one year? Pictures to follow after Nana date night when I return it to him.
