Happy Holidays! The Krug Family
I love it when families decide to call in their extended for their photo shoots. It makes for such a fun, jovial environment! I have been photographing Haley and Mike since their wedding in 2007. I just love them! Their son Julian is right around Henry’s age, and they have become best buddies. Enjoy these photos of the Krug extended family taken last weekend.

Happy Holidays! Mary & Cora
I had a lovely time last weekend photographing Mary and her beautiful 4-year old daughter, Cora. Photographing that age is a lot more like playing and a lot less like work. We played with Mary’s bike from when she was a little girl, jumped on the bed, played on the computer and snuggled with dolls. I can’t think of a more fun afternoon!

Happy Holidays! The Laukaitis Family
Meet the Laukaitis family! This weekend Christa, Jason, Lennon and I wandered around downtown Seattle capturing some modern holiday photos. Christa was very clear that she didn’t want a park backdrop for her pictures, so we went for super-contemporary and met up at the Seattle Public Library’s Central Branch. It was closed, but we were able to utilize the exterior of the building for some great backgrounds. From there we headed inside a few of the nearby hotel lobbies and then went to Fremont! Enjoy!

Happy Holidays! Maggie + Greg
Saturday was ridiculously rainy, and while I don’t generally mind shooting in drizzle, this was too much rain. Maggie and I talked and decided we’d do our session in the conservatory at Volunteer Park. I was worried we’d be limited by such a small enclosed space, but we did great! It was balmy and warm and we even stayed dry (for the most part). There was another shoot going on in the conservatory at the same time. Clearly, great minds think alike. Like I said, nice and toasty!

The Woodard (extended) Family!
I love these big group shoots I’ve been doing lately. I photographed Melinda, Jon and their twins Harry and Flora last summer. On Sunday I met up with them and their extended family at the Tacoma Museum of Glass for some group photos. Some of the family was in town from Finland, so it was a great opportunity to capture some sweet moments with everyone involved. I loved all of the cousin interactions going on with these kids. Such a great group!
