Thirty-second Prayer
Dear God, I let my little bird go. But it’s not because I do not love it anymore. It’s because it’s in love with the sky more than with me. Sometimes, I even wonder if it really wanted to be caged. Yes, it was mine even though I’m not quite sure if it sees me as its owner, and its heart was always looking up high. I did everything to keep it there -  gave it food and water everyday. Play with it every once in a while. I thought it would make me feel better if I would keep it with me – that he would be safer inside a cage and it will never grow hungry. But my attempt was always futile and it had the reverse effect – it seemed t
