Mo No More
Well, it's over - Movember that is. I actually cheated by a few hours and now look like this:
As you can see, Mr. Little Big Man wanted in on the shot - which is fine. He actually is the best looking thing in the picture, so no complaints. To date I raised a total of $325.00 for prostate cancer and believe a little more should flow in over the next few days. All in all a success!
We had the party on Saturday night and it was a lot of fun, despite me being a little under the weather. I've had one of these colds that just knock you on your ass and while going out drinking on Saturday night s
MOment of Silence
I have nothing to add - I believe this picture says it all.
CHEERS!
UnMOtivated
This post is actually not about Movember. Don't get me wrong - it is a great cause and I'm happy to have the excuse to grow a moustache. Still, this post is about something I used to do a lot, and rarely do anymore. Something I forgot I missed. Sitting down with a beer or six with no purpose in mind and just typing. Which is what I'm about to do ... but first ... my moustache update ... only because I have it:
Okay, on with the show. First up ... football. Specifically the fantasy and pick 'em leagues I am in. How the hell am I doing so bad? It is just me our does everyone
Movember, Mo Problems
Actually, there really are no problems - things are getting a little itchy and I'm not loving my new look - but I've already raised almost $200.00 with plenty of Movember left. This post is simply to give you an update on the moustache progress, but based on my lawyer's advice, a small matter to get out of the way first:
What Are the Possible Side Effects of LOOKING AT THIS PICTURE?THIS PICTURE can cause serious side effects. These side effects have happened only to a small number of people. Your doctor can monitor you for them. These side effects usually go away if your your contact with THIS PICTURE is stopped.
Getting Itchy
Well, here we are almost at the half way point of Movember and things are starting to get a little itchy. To be honest, I think the moustache looks terrible and to date I've only raised in the neighbourhood of about $200.00 so far - I'm not going to single-handedly cure prostate cancer at this rate. Oh. Just a sec - phone ... wow. As it turns out that was a scientist calling saying that my recent donation had somehow pushed them over the top and they had gone ahead and found a cure. Ah well, I've gone this far -- might as well stick it out for another couple of weeks. Once again, you can help out by clicking the dealio over there in the sidebar - thanks in advance. OK -
