Gratitude
Thanksgiving is just around the corner and it's making everyone remember to be grateful for what they have in this life. Obviously it's something we should to remember more than once a year.People get on this kick of wanting new stuff, and shopping all the time. Now with all the problems going on maybe we don't need to buy every single person we've ever met a Christmas present. Maybe we can focus on being with family. With this being such a special time of year that would be wonderful, especially for our children.What are you doing for this holiday season? And what are you thankful for?

Hypothyroidism and Me
 I have been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and Hypothyroidism.  Now since then I have lost all respect for the doctor who said I had PCOS, plus a newer doctor who took my through 2 pregnancies said in response to my telling I had this condition, "Really?  Are you sure?"  Considering she would know more than me, I think maybe not.  But the Hypothyroidism I do have.

I want...I want....I want that!
I like Nick Jr. and the Disney channel for CW to watch.  It's better than the more grown up channels and shows like Max & Ruby are sweet.  But here come the commercials and my attempts to raise a child who isn't taken in by all the "stuff" around us goes out the window. "Mama? Mama?  Can I buy that?!" and "Daddy! Daddy! Can I get that?" during every commercial.  And I mean everything.  He wants the Strawberry Shortcake styler, Bathtub Dora, remote control cars, and so on and so on.But when we are in the store, while he does always want to buy something, I do feel blessed that he rarely throws a fit about it when I say no.  He'll
