Lazy Mondays...

Fruilli time last night…
Myself, Ryan, Lauren and Vawn went to a craft evening at The Deaf Cat cafe, where we had coffee and hot chocolate. We then to join a load of lovely friends at the pub. Its not often that there are so many people that I like to spend time with in one room! Here are a few photos:

Creative influx…
After being poorly (I feel a lot better more of the time now) I have had the urge to clean the house meticulously and start creating decorations and presents for Christmas. I am rather excited about Christmas this year; I am never really over-the-top excited about it, but this Christmas will be the first in our new house! I put the tree up last night… a lot of people have said that it is far too early, but my family is coming to celebrate Christmas a week early, so why cant I put the tree up a week early!? Pandemic in your home…
I havent written for about a week. I was planning to the other day, and then I got sick with suspected swine flu! I am taking the Tamiflu meds that I have been prescribed and feel slightly better; the pain killers seem to help me faze in and out of the real world. All in all, I dont think I have had the worst case of flu ever, but it has been horrible. I am still not better in the slightest but should be in a few days. To take 5 mins on your hands and knees to get upstairs to the toilet doesnt really help esteem… It was my friend Lauren’s 21st birthday yesterday, but alas I was too poorly to go out with her, and then go to work

New folio… check it out!
Just a quick note to say I have submitted a landscape portfolio on The Deaf Cat website. This is an inspirational cafe and gallery on the high street in Rochester, where I live. I am so glad that a community like this is sprouting… I have been waiting for a long time. I hope to add more to their website soon, and also attend their craft fair on the 26th of this month! So excited to meet interesting people. Now I really want my own studio, to get the creative flow going on a regular basis; watch this space!

My 22nd Birthday!
There is so much I need to catch up on. It has been my birthday so I have been taking it extra-easy and doing some stuff. My parents came over on Sunday and we had roast beef! It was so yummy. They also bought birthday cake and a lemon cheese cake which was so ridiculously nice that I asked them to leave the two thirds that were left so I could be alone with it for a while.
