Influenza A or the Swine....
We all are painfully aware that the chaos of flu season has come early and struck hard. Here in Maine it is no different. There are towns, in which schools are shutting down due to low attendence, caused by flu stricken students. In fact, it appears that Maine physicians are no longer testing for the H1N1 (commonly called the Heini Flu by us Mainahs), as the majority of all the diagnosed cases of influenza A are subtype H1N1 (this is purely Maine rumor with no facts to back it up). However, the CDC website does report that the majority of all cases of Influenza A reported to the CDC are, in fact, the H1N1. Influenza A (thus the H1N1) can be treated with Tamiflu as long as you see the doctor

OK. So, I know it has been a while since I have contributed to this blog....or anything else recently. I held on as long as I could until I just got too busy at my desk job. I worked 11, 12, & 13 hours a day for a period of time and that was in addition to my 45 minute (one way) commute, my 1 or less hours with my kids before they head to bed, my 45 minute workout, and my 1 to 2 hours of catching up with my customers, my blog, and fellow coaches.
