Updated LENS Alert Agent
Back in April I warned of what can happen if you don't pay attention to software requirements, detailing that I got bitten by my own assumptions.As a follow-up to that post, I'm pleased to announce that as of version 1.4.3, the LENS Alert Agent no longer requires Service Pack 2 of the .NET Framework 2.0. In reviewing the code, we discovered a single line of code that was responsible for the requirement and promptly changed it. We felt that requiring users to upgrade where not absolutely necessary was putting an undue burden on them. The new version loses no functionality from this change,
