| Description: |
I frequently post on obscure Saints of the day (on the old Orthodox calendar), or an obscure aspects of well-known Saints, on intertextual connections in books that I've read or am currently reading, and on aspects of monastic history and spirituality. I try to include a lot of poetry and a lot of art. I try to encourage 'tradition' in all its aspects--ecclesiastical/spiritual, cultural, philosophical, moral, literary, and aesthetic. 'Logismoi' is unapologetically Orthodox, but hopefully irenic and not overly polemical. I also try to inject a bit of humour! |
