TGIF!!!
Boy am I thankful it is Friday. I love my boys to death but they are driving me batty right now. They are getting in to so much trouble it isn't even funny. I think if it is warm enough I will let them run around outside for a while tomorrow. They need to get rid of some of their energy. So who all went out for Black Friday Shopping? I went out for one thing, it was for Brendan. I got it and came back home. I hadn't planned on going out but when we have had so much trouble finding the darn thing, I knew I needed to get it since they had it in stock.Patrick and I have been playing around on facebook for most of the day. I read some more of my book. B
Book Goal Met!
I don't think I posted about it but I did in fact meet my goal of reading 60 books in 2009. I did it before the beginning of December! Go me!So if you would like to see what books I read this year, then go here. I have read a different variety of books through out this year. I like to read mainly mystery/thriller type books with a little romance thrown in for good measure.Right now I am currently reading The Scarpetta Factor by Patricia Cornwell. So far so good, I am enjoying it.So what are you reading now? Are you going to set a goal?
Thankful Post # 4 2009 Edition
I am thankful for having a roof over my head. I recently read on another friends blog that a family in Hawaii lost their home a few days ago. It is so sad when things like this happen so close to the holidays. I remember when I was bout 5 or 6 yrs old our house burnt down while we were out of town visiting my grandma. She lived near the beach and we always went to Calabash for some of the greatest seafood. Anyways while at my grandma's we get a call from one of my dads bestfriends saying the house burnt down. We had to cut our trip short and go back home. We lost everything. We had good people around us though as they helped to get me clothes and school supplies sinc
Thankful Post # 3 2009 Edition
I am thankful for my two wonderful boys. They are the lights of my life and I don't know what I would do if I didn't have them. I love getting their hugs and kisses. I love listening to my oldest read. I love reading to my youngest.I love spending time with my kids. I am so thankful for being blessed to be a mom because there isn't anything else out there like the feeling of hearing your children say "Mommy, I love you.".Best words EVER!
Random things about my boys, and some other drivel
My boys crack me up all the time. Both of my boys like to draw, they got that from their daddy. Drawing is one of the things we use to help calm Sebastian down when he is not quite at the "melt-down" stage. Thankfully he hasn't had that many melt-downs in a long time. Every once in a while he will have one but it is usually when he is just exhausted. That is when most kids have tantrums anyways. So back to my boys being boys. They love transformers, gi joes, cars, trucks, playing outside, rididng in mommy and daddys cars, and just wrestling around. We think Sebastian is going to be our football player. He has the quarter-back shoulders. He got them from my dad. Brend
